Hello all,

Please, I need help on this since I'm new to wireless world. I have [h=1]Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System with ME2 Lavalier Mic (A / 516 - 558 MHz) [/h]I just purchased another older set Sennheiser EW 100 with (B / 630 - 662 MHZ)

I'm trying to run two Lav. mic the same time. Now my question is,
Can the older model with the frequency B / 630 - 662) co- exist the new model (A / 516-558 MHZ) on the same camera?
Is (B / 630 - 662) frequency still legal in USA?

Thanks a bunch.
Fred

There should be no problem using the two systems together. There may be certain specific pairs of frequencies on the two systems that should be avoided because they have a common multiple (or sub-multiple) and therefore produce harmonics that will interfere with each other. You would note this as a loss of sensitivity on one unit or strange noises and distortion in the receiver -- not too different from avoiding any other "busy" frequency in your area. Unfortunately, Sennheiser's frequency groupings and tables only consider the case where all units are in the same frequency band -- you may have to figure out the conflicts for yourself when using your A and B block systems together. Not too big a deal, though.
