Sennheiser wireless and why boom mics don't always work

We all know a mic on a boom is preferable, but sometimes a really wide shot is required and this scene on a golf course is a good example. I was quite pleased with the performance of the G2's (with Countryman B3 lavs), and surprised at the lack of clothing noise, even when swinging. The lavs were gaffer taped inside their shirts. Mics plugged directly in to the HVX, just me and a crew of none.
