Sennheiser SK100 radio mic transmitter question

Will 2 Sennheiser SK100 bodypack radio mic transmitters work with one receiver?

If I have two guys wired up with these evolution lavs, and put them both on the same frequency, will they both be picked up OK by the receiver, or will one override the other? Will I need two receivers into a beachbox?

Thanks

you will need 2 receivers
each transmitter has to be hooked to individual receiver on different frequency, then both
receivers into the beach teck if you cant handle the levels directly on the camera

You could also set the two transmitters one step apart and switch between them at the receiver... but not fast enough to use like a mixer.

I'm just letting you know it's possible as long as there is at least a 1-2 second gap in the dialog. It's not a professional approach, but it does work.

BY pure luck I picked a used Sennheiser receiver up off ebay an hour ago for a very low price, so I am now sorted. Amazingly the seller lives 30 minutes away so I will pick it up in the morning.

So I have lavs on both actors with the two transmitters and receivers dangling on the camera. Both receivers will go into a Beachtek then into the camera's 3.5mm jack socket. Just need a way to attach the receivers to the camera. Probably a bit of velcro.

Sorted!

why are you using the beachtek? is this not a dvx-100 your connecting them to?

i often use a bracket on my camera called the mini-rover. it gives you a handle that goes off to the left side.

it greatly adds to the stability of handheld shots as well as having an option plate that attached to the top of the handle with a great place to put wireless receivers.

there is another bracket called bracket one that i own but generally hate.

it is heavy and its designed to put the weight very far forward.

this is only good if your just doing tripod work.
