Sennheiser PX 100-II Headphones

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone's used the Sennheiser PX 100-II for audio monitoring in-the-field while shooting video? I'm looking for something compact and lightweight, and stays on my ears better than normal in-ear earbuds (And the tangled mess that comes with all those wires) Is this headphone neutral enough for audio monitoring? I was hoping to use these with DSLRS, or other video cameras.

I'd love to get some feedback on these. Thank you!

Being the 'open ear' type design, I suspect the PX 100-II isolation wouldn't be very good for field production. For about $20 more, Sony's MDRV6 could be purchased, which is essentially the same as the 7506, (one of the industry standard HP) except for a silver plug and a few other minor cosmetic differences.

I had some similar headphones and found them to be quite lacking and hard to get decent level from.

Have a look at the sony MDR-V300 or if you can go to afford them the MDR 7506 or V6.

That might have been an impedance issue. I have a pair of beyerdynamic headphones I got because they were more isolating, but they were 32 ohms and were almost impossible to get loud enough with some portable equipment.
