For your interior mic, which would you pick. I know you cant go wrong with both, is there one more "versatile" Ill buy whatever outdoor (shotgun) mic complements this, but most of work will indoors in a variety of settings.

Ive heard both and still can't decide. thanks for your input.

Both excellent mics, tough call. Personally I like the sound of the Schoeps but the Senn is excellent and preferred by many. One small difference is the Schoeps is slightly susceptible to moisture while the Senn is less so (so I have been told, I do not own the Senn). The 50 also comes with a -10db pad and roll off switch that the Schoeps does not. You can buy a roll off add on separately for the Schoeps but it is expensive.

Other then that, you are on your own, sorry. Sometimes you just have to decide if you prefer the BMW or the Lexus.

Good luck

I was thinking BMW vs Mercedes since they are both German. 760il vs S600? Didnt hear that about the Schoeps regarding moisture. Are we talking humidity issues?

they both sound the same to me. A schoeps CMIT 5U/CMC641 combo or a Sennheiser MKH50/MKH416 or 60. hmmm
