Sennheiser MKH 415t -- Worth Anything?

I have a 415T and love it. My "black box" says Sennheiser BP-2 and uses 9v batteries. As previously stated remember to switch the box off when not in use. Lucky me, the box uses only one thumb screw to replace the batteries.*

Hi guys. I'm bringing this thread back from the dead, but I also have a 415 with a 12T to 48PH converter so I can use with phantom power. My question is - this inline adapter is quite large (4-5 inches long.) Are there smaller adapters on the market? I have a small DSLR rig with Tascam recorder and between the lengths of cable before and after the converter and the converter itself my mic seems to be taking up more space than my camera

One other thing... the small plug that goes into the back of the mic, what is the name for it, size, etc.?

The plug on the back of the mic should be a locking 3 pin DIN also sometimes known as tuchel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_connector
