The Sennheiser ME66 that is ont the evs website seems very cheap. Is this all you need to buy if you want the mic to hook up to your DVX or do you need an adaptor of some sort? Thanks a lot!

read the description for the mic...."the ME 66 is a short gun microphone capsule designed for use with the K6 and K6P powering modules."

thanks sirius, I guess I missed that part. ok well, Im looking for a microphone that will do a good job recording dialoge, primarily under $250. Are there any mics out there that will do a decent job? I was looking at the panasonic mic...does anyone know how well it does? Thanks!

I have the ME66/K6 and really like it. What ever you decide to go with you'll need a boom-pole for the best sound. You will not want to mount it on the camera.
Of course the ME66/K6 is over your $250 budget.
