Sennheiser G3 Wireless Lav & Rechargeable Batteries

"I've been using Eneloops on my G2 for years with no problems"
Same here, but use the Rayovac Hybrids. At the least 10 hr.s w/o shutting off for lunch breaks and such.

I have had great success using PowerEx rechargeables in my G3s for over two years for narrative work. I usually change out at about the 6 hr. point. I use the PowerEx 8 bank charger and use the Condition cycle on all my batteries once a month. My working distance is typically no more than 75-100 feet.

The other possibility is to buy the cords that power the G3's, and then plug them into your master power supply. You have to wire them. $62 or so.

It's not *just* cords.

The powar adaptor consistes of a DC/DC converter in a pack that looks like a pair of batteries - it includes a new battery door and hinges for the G3 (the bew door has a hole for the cable) and a cable that plugs into the DC/DC adaptor with the far end open-ended to put on your choice of connector.

You can then feed the G3 with 9-12V DC.
