Sennheiser - Frequency Band

So I'm getting ready to purchase my first wireless lav sytem. I'm going to go with the Sennheiser G3 cuz I've heard it's the best. I'm not really sure about the frequency blocks that these come in tho (A, B, G).

Is one better than the other?? and which one should I buy??

So I would want to find a frequency in my area that says its vacant, and then get the wireless system that ranges in that frequency?

Hopefully, any of the frequency blocks should have multiple vacant frequencies in their range. You'll want to buy the block that has the most vacant in your area.

What if I plan to travel and use this a lot, or I might even be moving in the next year or so... I'd hate to buy such an expensive kit and have it possibly not work depending on where I'm filming at.

Or am I thinking into this too much, and it will usually work even if I'm traveling?

Really just depends on where you are now. I shoot on both coasts and use the G2's
