Sennheiser EW112PG2 vs EW112PG3 difference?

Hey there guys,

I'm looking to pickup a portable wireless lav system for conducting interviews for films.

I'm not an Audio expert and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the Sennheiser EW112PG2 and the EW112PG3 ?

The G3 has a much wider frequency tuning window than the G2, so is more versatile (42MHz as opposed to 36MHz)

The G3 receiver is diversity - G2 is not.

There are a few other things as well, but these are the most important - personally, I would not buy a G2 now, the diversity G3 is much safer.

As John already gave the technical data, I'll just chime in that G2 is an old model and the G3 is the new and improved version.

And I suppose it's also worth mentioning that Sennheiser discontinued the G2 in favor of the G3 close to two years ago, so that anybody claiming to have "new" stock is either lying or sweeping a lot of dust off of the boxes...
