Sennheiser EW100 G2 Question

I just got the Kit with the with the SKP 100 G2 Plug in adapter, and the Receiver / Transmitter packs work great, better sound than I imagined after a few tweaks, I highly recommend them (and Northernsound.net has this set for $520 vs. $600 everywhere else). But for some reason I can't get the SKP 100 G2 Plug to function with the receiver... I set it up the same, i think, as the bodypack transmitter, but can't get any sound out of it when plugged into my Oktava... I get the RF lit, but no sound... and the instructions don't really help... I know you guys can help me!!! Thanks!

I think the SKP100 requires a battery powered microphone, as it does not provide phantom power. And the Oktava is strictly a phantom powered microphone. Maybe someone else can confirm or deny this.

Yes, it is true that SKP 100 plug in doesnt support phantom power. I dont know if Oktova is strictly phantom powered mike... If it is, this is what you need:

Yep, you are right, thanks guys, just hooked it up to my Rode NTG-2 and worked fine... I thought this one suppled phantom as well... Probably would use it more with the shot gun anyway... THANKS!!!

the 500 suplies phantom, so thats what you would need. Enjoy the new toys...

I will, playing with it the last few days, make me want another set and a 302 Mixer... Maybe next month... it never ends!
