Sennheiser EK 2000 Battery Door issue

The spring fell out of the door that holds it closed. I now have only one of the two on each side keeping it closed and it's constantly opening. It's the transmitter so kind of pain. I'm thinking about removing one from the receiver but dont want to damage it if it's not supposed to be removed. Hoping that I dont have to replace the whole battery door. Anyone have this issue before? Sennheiser wasn't very helpful.

If the Sennheiser 2000 is the same as the 100 G2/3 series door, a replacement is not expensive and comes off very easy by pushing the hinge pin through with a suitably sized drift tool. I don't know if replacement latches are available.

The series 2000 has a metal door, the G2/G3 series have a plastic door - otherwise it's the same.

Personally I would just buy a new door.

Thanks guys. It took a little digging but found the parts. I ordered a couple springs and latches as a backup. Good to go! Rick you are correct.
