Sennheiser Boom Mic Suggestions

Hey guys I have a Sennheiser ME66/K6 and I was wondering if I could turn this setup into a boom mic. I was looking at another post about the Gitzo G-557C and I figure I would need a windshield as well. Will this work?

I do allready have the shock mount, so if I were to get the Gitzo G-557C and a windscreen, Ill be all set? Thanx Gopher_Greene for the quick response!
