Hello,

I am looking to buy a used 416. While looking I saw a couple different variations on the the name of a few. One was the MKH 416 p48 and another was the MKH 416 p48 U3?

What is the difference? Different model?

Then what would be the differences between the two?

They are probably exactly the same.

U means XLR and 3 means black.

The full model description is - MKH 416 P48U-3 - but most people just say MKH 416 or MKH 416P48 (to differentiate from the MKH 416T).
