Senn G2 Question

I plan on recording the audio from a G2 wireless on say channel 1 and using the built in mic on channel 2 at same time, would they come out as 2 separate tracks on the timeline?

The reason being, that I plan to record at an indoor meeting and wanted to see if it was possible to record the subject with the wireless mic, and capture the background sound as well. I wanted edit both audio files separately.

Yes they would be two separate tracks. I mean, they'll be seen as a "stereo pair", but you could duplicate the audio in your editor, assign one track to be "left only" and the other to be "right only" and you'd have two tracks. Stereo audio is just two mono tracks that are treated as a pair.
