Senn G1/2/3 replacement lav upgrade: options?

These wireless setups have been working OK for me with their stock ME2 mics... right up until one of the ME2's was unceremoniously ripped apart the other day. I may futz about with repairing it, but in the meantime wouldn't mind replacing it with something that sounds a little richer.

I've heard the name "Countryman" bandied about, but that's the extent of what I remember... so I'm not working from much.

Realistic budget on this is ~$300.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I've heard many good things about the low-cost ( under $100 ) OST 801/802 lavs : Oscar SoundTech : Ask for a price-list

Moving up in price, there are many good quality lavs to choose from...

- Countryman EMW
- TRAM TR50
- Rode Lav Mic

Moving up in price again there are...

- DPA 4061
- Sanken COS-11D
- Sennheiser MKE 2

I own a few lavs that I use with a Sennheiser UHF system. My general purpose lav is the TRAM TR50 which I use the most. I also own a Countryman EMW which I use for higher pitched female voices. ( the TR50 is better suited for male voices )

And I own a Sennheiser MKE 2 Gold lav and a Sanken COS-11x lav, both sound great but I find them to be a little more sensitive to room noise, so I only use them when the shooting environment is quiet. ( not sure which I like better, both are extremely good mics )

I plan on picking up one OST 801 lav to see what it's like, as it would be nice to have a bunch of low cost lavs to use with Olympus LS7 recorders as "wild" sound body-pack recorders. ( I don't want to invest a few grand into UHF systems if I can get away with the body-packs instead )
