senheisser K3u causes mic inteferrance and how do you use a shure WL184 lapel mic

hi guys, just a couple of Qs...

first of all I bought a set of 2nd hand senheisser mics of Ebay a while ago. the set consisted of 2x k3u, one me40 and one me80.

now the problem is that with one K3u it is just fine, but with the other one I get a bad signal - like really bad crackling and such. I was able to fix for a bit by moving the XLR and such, but it just comes back if you move it slightly again... anyone know of a way to fix this (I asked some loactions but they wanted to charge me just to look at it without guarantee)

secondly - I was given a shure WL184 lapel mic - but it has this wierd connection on it (I've been told it was previously used for a wireless transmitter but the receiver died). Is there anyway I can connect this to an XLR or something like that? I heard it was a good Lapel. If not I guess I could ask to see if i could get the transmitter - but do they sell receivers for this?

thx :)
