Sending to Motion question

I have a 22 minute short project shot on 7d edited in fcp in prores files, I wanted to bring into motion and try out some of the filters.

Is it better to just right click the sequence and send to motion or since the the cutting is complete can I export a quicktime and send that to motion. Does it matter which?

it seems a mess when i send over even just one scene. all the the cuts are their own files in motion. I thought maybe making one quicktime would prevent that. But your right I'd much rather be bale to work clip to clip.
