sending slomo with cross fades to motion: help

Sending slomo clips to motion, even just leaving as blending mode is WAY better than built in FCP.. however, clips with cross fades, get cut off.. If I send an entire segment the crossfades disappear...

Anyone got a smoot workflow..

I've been able to move in and outs for a clip in the motion project and extend the project around the clips manually, but what a pain... unless maybe there's a setting in motion that will automatically add a front and tail to the clip???

huh? What I think your saying is to motion the entire clip, and then throw it on the timeline and edit with it.. When I know what clips I using that's fine, but I'd rather not have to send to motion anything until my timeline is done..

once I'm happy with the edit i'd like to throw things like slomo's at motion. unfortunately clips that are involved in cross fades are extended and removed from the fades, leaving fade to blacks and extended clips that mess the whole timeline up.. I'm editing wakeboarding and motocross cut to music, so it's no ok for FCP to push my entire timeline... If I try to send a segment with fades they gets erase... etc...
