Sending Audio to Soundtrack Pro

I have some audio that I want to enhance. From my FCP timeline I sent it over to STP. Did what I had to do there but when I tried to export it out, the options were all grayed out. Now after I save my work in STP does it automatically update the audio portion in FCP hence the reason for not a need to export?

I usually "send to soundtrack pro", make my adjustments there, PROCESS>RENDER TO ACTION then save as and choose file type you want, like aif or wav. I think the HELP menu in FCP may give you the info (search "send to soundtrack pro) on relationships between the FCP and the STP files and how to make non-destructive adjustments to your audio.

Hmmm thats interesting because I didn't do any of that except for SAVE AS and gave it a name then when I went back to FCP, the STP version was there in my timeline. I will check it out how you told me and see what that way is like too. I like to keep my options open! LOL!
