Hey everyone,
I was recently hired by a local company to shoot some promotional content for them. Yesterday, we went to the machine shop they hire to show how the raw materials are inspected and cut into the shapes that the company then sells to clients. While there, the owner asked for my card and said he may be in touch.
The client that hired me mentioned that the machine shop (3rd party) would like to get a copy of the raw video that i shot in the event that they would like me to produce a video for them (from the video that was already shot, or potentially going back to do another project). I charged the client that hired me 2 grand to produce a 2 minute video for them. That involved around 8 hours of shooting and probably 10 hours of editing.
I don't really have a clue what to quote the machine shop to create a little video for them with the footage that was already shot for the original client. What do you guys generally do to figure this out?
Here is the sample footage i'm providing them with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XcHmQFTBmY&feature=youtu.be
Happy holidays to all!
