I'd like to sell my DVD's online similar to what Note by Note did.
http://www.notebynotethemovie.com/
It's a doc about how steinway pianos are made that was a success story in film self distribution. They sold something like 50,000 DVD's.
Anyways, I'd like to have a website and then a place where people can click purchase and checkout with the whole shopping cart deal. How do I do this? Or rather can someone point me in the right direction? Are there sites that host this that don't look too cheesy? I'd like the site to sort of look like it's not connected to Amazon or Paypal. Would I have a server in my place of business to do this or would a third party be the best route?
On Note by Note, when you click on purchase it takes you to a site called neoflix where you do the actual transaction. Anyone heard of this?
I don't really know anything about webhosting or e-commerce so I'm just looking for someone to point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
