Self Distribution

Hi,

We are self distributing our documentary www.beyondbibamovie.com
and have started setting up screenings at Universities and at screening venues
where we'll show the film and the woman in the film will conduct a talk
afterwards. This is our first film we've made/distributed and we've been
asking for between $500-750/screening. We've booked five screenings so far ,
she is quite famous in the fashion world so that helps!

Is $500-750 a good amount to charge or should we try and charge more? Any
big tips on self distribution?
