self-contained movie ?

[Z]

Almost an embarrassing post that has been covered but i can't open a"self-contained" movie on a pc from a burnt disk. Should the file be assigned an extention on export from the mac? The pc doesn't recognize the file type. What am i missing? It should recognize it correct? It's a quicktime file. "Damn pc's..."

Extension would be .mov

Not sure if you can open the full-fledged DV file on a PC though. You may have to export it to a different format from the Mac using QT Pro.
