Selecting section of timeline for rendering

I used to just click and drag to select the section of the timeline I wanted, using the little yellow triangles. Now sometimes it works and others it renders the whole timeline..?

Weird, but I am sure there is a simple explanation. If only I knew wtf it is... :undecided


Someone help me out pls.

There's a checkbox in the "render as" dialog where you tell it to only render the selection.
