Seeking MQ or PQ tapes in Tacoma

Good morning folks,

I am trying to find a resource for tapes in my local market and am coming up empty.
Yes, yes, I could drive to Seattle or order online, both of which I usually do.

When I am THINKING.

But I wasn't these last two weeks and now have found myself short. :furious3:

The UW Tacoma Campus bookstore said they had none, but I may venture in anyway.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Maybe look up pro video rentals/ repair. Those are the types of places likely to sell them. You won't find em at electronics outlets and you damn sure won't find them at Wallmart/Target. I just buy 10-20 at a time online.

Dude..of course it's hindsight :)

it always gets me in the end!
Great Name for your company.

Yeah, I'm going in that direction. alot of folks are canon or sony, so moctly folks have said that's the brand they stick to.

I know it's a sin to use JVCs or TDKs, but I just found out my shooting partner has resorted to using each of those brands in a pinch and then cleans the heads right after, and never for more than an hour or two of taping.

Scares me, but I may need to go for it.

Thanks for the help!

I've used everything and it's mother in my Canon Optura 40, and yes it does get clogged from time to time. Cleaning it has returned it to normal everytime
its had clogs though. I've used the Panasonic cleaning casette that came with my DVX100B. Play 10 seconds, and back to normal. Many pros say never use these, btw, they're abrasive and will trash your heads. They're probably right but knock wood mine's been fine.
