Seeking advice... Writing a research paper on filmmaking

I'm writing a research paper for my English class and I selected filmmaking as my topic since I'm so passionate about it, but the catch is that it has to be broadened, narrowed down to something. What would be some broad topics to choose from? Some that come to mind are Filmmaking + technology and the education/job outlook aspect.
