SDI audio out

How many audio tracks go out the SDI out on the HPX170? On my KiPro, the option to select between 2 or 8 tracks (2.3 on the config menu) doesn't appear. I have KiPro firmware 1.1.1 and would like to record 4 tracks.

1) I believe the 8-channel option was added with the latest (2.0) firmware. http://www.aja.com/ajashare/kipro/ReleaseNotes_KiPro_v2.0.pdf
2) Where would you get 4 channels of audio from the camera? Doesn't it have only two inputs?

A hpx-170 can record four tracks, two by xlr input, and two through the internal mic, so you can use the internal tracks for whatever. So, the cam and P2 workflow will support four. I believe some folks have hacked the cam to record four from external sources. Though, the cam only has two pre-amps, so that would be limiting without a mixer.

I cannot speak to the SDI output question.
