Update!
Audio on Red was recently enabled and so this has become an issue again. I posted about the 442 on RedUser here http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7246
It appears that the 442 can't really do four channels out with all the processing! Gah!
In order to save some coin, I am now considering simply buying a MixPre to run in parallel to my 302. Can someone summarize (or point to a thread that does) the differences between the two?
