So I got my HD-P2 in today (yay) and it's cool and all. Bigger than I thought it would be! I definitely need to pony up for an Eargonizer.
Anyhow, I busted out my SD302 and plugged a countryman lav into it to test it out. I set my HD-P2 to line in...and nothing at all registered, not even a blip. In order to get it to work, I had to set it to mic, which blew it out, then engage the -20db pad on both channels, to bring it down. Even then, when generating the 1k tone on the SD302 and calibrating all the way up to -12db, the HD-P2 was only on a volume of 4!
Does this sound normal? Why was line in not registering anything? I thought my SD302 did line out. Oh, and I have never made any adjustments on my SD302, so it's factor config.
