I hope this isnt to dumb of a question, I just want to make sure I am not screwing up. I am making an instructional DVD. I am using a DVX100 and capturing using FCS2.
What is the best codec to work in? I have 3 TB of storage and 4GB of ram. When I import is there any benefit of using the prores or does that just help out in HD. Should I go uncompressed? I plan on doing a bit of color correction, and a fair amount of title work.
Its on a intel mac pro 2.6
