SD storage estimates????

I plan to capture a lot of footage into FCP from SD VHS tapes. My questions is: what is the general rule of thumb as to how much space this stuff will take up (MB or GB)? 1 hour of uncompressed VHS footage =.....?

That will depend on what codec you use to digitize the footage in.

If using DV, 1 hour = about 13 GB.
