SD screeners from HD?

Couldn't find if anyone's asked and answered this one; just curious if, after shooting HD movie with HVX200 and doing rough edit in FCP, can I output the finished HD product, via firewire through the camera, to my old trusty VCR and burn a SD screener?
 
Don't have FCP so I can't answer that for sure. But yes you can input firewire to the HVX and output composite or s-video to the VCR.
