Hello and thanks again for the feedback. This site is great and everybody's input is right on and generous.
I'm new here and new to computer editing so please excuse that if it shows.
What I'm thinking about is shooting and editing SD for the next year or so then HD after that using the HVX200 and Final Cut Pro Studio on either a G5 2.3 MHZ or a Quad.
How much memory would I need now for SD and how would I go about it and what would I need to upgrade for HD editing in the future? If I go slowly step by step it might be more affordable for me. Some money out now some out later.
