All i have running in my G5 are 2 160GB IDE hard drives... and i'd like to beef that up a bit so i can work better with uncompressed DVCPRO 50 and Digi beta.
I dont know if its worth it to go to SCSI or to explore Serial ATA hard drives. SCSI are SO expensive, but incredible speed... but ATA is cheaper, but i dont know if they are that much quicker then IDE drives... anyone have any personal experience? im researching it right now...
