Forgive if this was once asked prior: We are in the (long…) process of shooting an independent production. We shot the scenes as scripted, got to editing, and ended up re-ordering some of the dialog (it just looked/sounded/worked better in the new sequence). The question I am musing now is; is it common practice to back revise the script to the dialog as it was edited- or- maintain the shooting script as written but with annotations as to the edits. What practice would be recommended?
Many Thanks.
