SCRIPT Magazine ?

Anybody know what the frick is going on with Script magazine? Is it 'gone'? Is it now just Writer's Digest magazine?

I got this email just now on this. As usually, it reads as corporate double speak instead of just saying simply what is happening with Script magazine:

[TD]It's been said that great minds think alike, so it was only natural that Script Magazine and The Writers Store would ultimately join forces. That day is here, as The Writers Store (and parent company F + W Media) warmly welcome Script to our screenwriting community family. What does this mean for you as a Script Magazine email subscriber? You can still expect all the same great Script Weekly features you've come to love, including Meet the Reader, Screenwriter's Market Lead and the Sales Report, along with a host of new articles, Q & As, book excerpts and more. You'll also begin to receive informative emails directly from The Writers Store, featuring insider info on the world of screenwriting, and subscriber-only discounts on all our top software, books and supplies.

Essentially Script Mag is gone. We have discontinued the print edition. We will be continuing Script Weekly emails with free content, and posting new free content to Scriptmag.com. There will be no paid digital edition of the magazine, and current subscribers will receive Writer's Digest for the rest of the subscription period.

Bummer. I guess once my subscription ends that will be the end of that. I have no interesting in subscribing to WD magazine. And no interest in the SW emails.
