scrims for fresnel

Hey guys I have yet another rook question.....Can someone tell me if a lowell 6 5/8 scrim will fit on my altman 650L fresnel (same as arri 650 fresnel), or do the scrims have to be altmans. Does any brand scrim fit on any light as long it fits the dimensions? Thanks ya'll.

And if they don't fit, cut some out of some old metal screens (getting hard to find these days though)
