Scrim size on Britek 650 & 1000?

Hey, anybody out there who has a Britek G600/650 with a softbox, or a Britek RS-1000 with a softbox?

Could you measure the diameter of the softbox attachment ring (outer diameter of the ring that slides into the light's scrim holder), or the inner diameter of the ears where the softbox attaches to the light? I'd like to know if the Britek box could fit on some other lights I have, and to know that wI need to know the diameter of the softbox attachment ring.

I'd check, but I don't have any access to britek lights. I'd be interested to know as well though.

The diameter of the portion of the speed ring that fits in the front of the 1k is about 9.5 inches.

I don't have a softbox for the 650, but measuring the part of the barndoors that fits in it... it's about 6.5 inches across.

Well Barry, are you going to share with the rest of us? I have other heads too (Peppers) and would like to know what works.

Nothing to share... the DayPhoto's I got come with some genuine Chimera softboxes, but the speed rings won't fit anything else I have. So I thought I'd get some speed rings, but at $100 apiece, I had second thoughts... as in... wonder if the Britek softboxes would fit my other lights. I have a 1K with a 6.5" scrim ring and a couple of 650's with 5" rings. Britek softboxes (including rings) are like $50 or so, so it seemed like the better deal; I was just trying to figure out if any of them would fit what I've got. Looks like I might get one for the 1K, which is the right light to get it for...
