I have a question about the screws used to connect the lens hood and anamorphic adapter. Do the screws scrape the body of the camcorder, or are there holes on the body that the screws connect to? The reason I ask is because one of the tripods I owned had screws to position the height and when you would turn the screws tightly, they would indent the inner pole. Is this the case with the lens hood or anamorphic adapter?

Re: Screws

lens hood, the pany one that is, has a shoe that looks like a break pad in a car which tightens up the fit, and as for the AA, the screw stops the female thread from freely rotating. This is the 72 mm thread that you fit onto the camera's thread. Once the lens is in you loosen the screw to align the lens. Then tighten it up. In both cases the screws dont ever touch the camera, they are both working on the accessories themselves.
