SCREW IN FILTERS - How many before vignetting?

Well, the title pretty much says it all.
I did a search on here and found one reference to this topic - with someone claiming they could screw three 82mm filters onto the HVX without any vignetting.

Can anyone else confirm this?

And yes, I realize I should be using a matte box with 4x4 filters - but I like having the option of going without for a lighter and more compact rig.

So...how many filters can you stack before you can't go full wide?

I've used two with no problem. Of course, I'm sure you'd like to go a bit further that than...

Thanks Blaine.

Two will probably do it...but I'm wondering if three is really okay or not.
I've actually never had more than one 82mm screw in filter on there at a time.
I've always been using matte boxes if I needed more....but trying to see if I can go a little more streamlined if needed.

**** me!! Forget that post, Luis. I was think of the DVX not the HVX. It wouldn't hurt if I learned to read what forum I was in...:(

Well - I guess I'll find out the answer to this one myself soon enough - I went ahead and ordered a few screw in filters for my HVX.
I'll stack all of them up and see what at what point I get some vignetting.
