Screenshot?

Try pressing Alt + Print Screen then open photoshop (if it is not already open) and create new document, then press Ctrl + V. That should past the screencap which you can then save.

I usually do it by just presssing the Print Screen button, and then opening a paint document. Click Edit, and Paste, and it's done. I'd been using XP for over a year before someone told me how to do that.

Anhar, i really am computer illiterate.

i learned that you can close a program with a keyborad short cut last week.... i dont know what the shortcut is... .but learned it exists..... Just leave me with the cameras, and sculpture matierals. i have no bussiness in the computer world.

ahh, Sculpturing, I really wish I had the chance to do that, the closest I got to it was probably using play dough :)

In Windows you can close a program window by pressing CTRL+F4.

The difference between PrntScrn and Alt+PrntScrn is that Alt+PrntScrn will only capture the currently active window, and PrntScrn will grab the whole desktop.

So if you want the whole desktop press PrntScrn, but if you have a window that is not the full size of the desktop and you want to capture just it, click it's title bar (to activate it) and then press Alt+PrntScrn. Then when you paste you'll only get that window, rather than the whole desktop :)

Sculpturing, on the other hand, is not a skill I have mastered  Though, Anhar reminds me, I do enjoy an afternoon with nephews and a pile of play dough

Peace,
Larry

Alt + F4

Ctrl + F4 will close a single window in an MDI app.

Oh, yeah. Here's another fun one: WindowKey + E

(WindowKey = that one usually between the Alt and Ctrl on the left side. Don't know what it's really called.)
