Is there anyone that makes a screen to mount on the top of the DVX.. one that will display the full resolution of the camera?

I am thinking kind of like a field monitor, like a monitor you can attach to the top of a film camera.

I haven't found anything so far in my searches.. so I am doubting there is anything out there like this...

but a 5-6 inch LCD would be great for focus, and seeing detail. The LCD and Eye Piece on the DVX make it hard to properly focus, or at least to get proper focus.

Seeing full res video would make it much easier to see how much detail is in your frame.

anyone know of a product?

man.. i need a "google for dummies" book.. i am that stupid..

sometimes I wonder how I learned to read....

thanks john

edit: interesting that just about all the monitors I have seen have pretty much the same resolution as the LCD on the cam... sigh... owell

Seems to me that the resolution as in pixels defines the ability to focus. 800X480 pixels will provide a decent resolution me thinks. Last year, Jarred bought a high resolution LCD to check out with excellent pixel resolution but I haven't been able to find that LCD again. The panasonic is generally recommended.
