A while back, with a trusty old sony handycam, I made a short film called "Teddy", an odd dark comedic piece about a man who's being stalked by his trusty stuffed companion (not the same teddy bear shown below). Well anyway, last night it inspired simply playing around with a couple around the house lights and doing some closeups with my DVX100b and 35mm adapter. All shots are with a Nikon Nikkor 85mm f/2, set at 2.8. The DVX at f/4.0, shutter speed of 1/46.1. No color correction has been done. The second and third screen grab of the teddy bear below are the same shot, before and after turning on a backlight. The shot of my eyes was actually accidental. I was messing with the LCD while holding a light and forgot to stop recording, but it looked pretty cool and my eye was in focus, so hey, here it is too. I look kind of evil though (I was concentrating, lol). Feel free to share any thoughts, comments or criticisms.
