Screen grabs from FCP to Photoshop

This may seem like a basic question but I'm trying to import a screen shot from FCP into Photoshop, then back into FCP.

How is this done?

There are a few methods, but I typically export with Quicktime conversion and choose "Picture" - be sure you have your resolution set correctly.

What do the settings need to be in order to import properly into Photoshop?

If you're on a Mac, use the Grabber utility.

Still not getting this grab into Photoshop for some reason.

What are the setting and how do you import into PS?

Launch Photoshop then go to the file menu and select open. Navigate to the folder that exported file was saved in. Select the file and hit enter. Sit back in amazement at what you've just accomplished.

Photoshop will not automatically open and import the file if that's what you're expecting.

Open the movie in Quicktime, go to the frame you want to save as a picture, then -> File -> Export -> Movie to Picture
