Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street

I really didn't realise the runtime on this thing and after a bit of time to think about it, revising my score to 3.75/5.

And I think Jonah Hill had a much bigger case to make for the supporting Oscar than the eventual winner, who I thought was aware of the camera in every scene of Cap Phillips.

Both the Oscars for actors, leading, and supporting, were awarded to Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto respectively, in the film "The Dallas Buyer's Club".

Barkhad Abdi was nominated for his supporting role in "Captain Phllips".

Tour de force performances by McConaughey and Leto. IMO they were shoe ins after I saw the film. Definitely a good year for rich character driven films though. All the nominated roles were stellar performances. DiCaprio deserved an Oscar for the Qaalude OD scene alone in Wolf of Wall Street. :-Laugh(DBG):
