School Me on Twitter

[F/VESCO]

We joined Twitter (I heard all the cool kids are doing it), and have no idea what we’re doing.

My thoughts are, we can use it to announce sales, specials, and to give gear away.

Any ideas on how to get followers? Also, any suggestions on what you would like to see us tweet?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Scott.

twitter won't likely work for you in that manner unless you're involved with the discussion happening within your community. who are you following? what are they talking about? and how have you contributed to that dialogue. i've learned using it exclusively for sales blasts, etc doesn't work very well. better to contribute meaningful discussion on relevant topics simply to get on other's radar. that way, people see you, like what you have to say and recommend others follow you by retweeting your posts or on follow friday #ff. it took me a year to go from 0 followers to 2,000+.
