School for Editing?

[Mac3 Productions]

I am looking for advice on where to go to college. Right now the school and major i'm most interested in is Television Postproduction and Effects and Columbia College Chicago. I really need to look into more schools that have good editing degrees. Im not necessarily looking to get in the film industry. I'd like to get a job at a postproduction house or doing inhouse media work for a company.

Perhaps consider going to training centers that offer 2-day to 6 week intensive courses on editing. You can learn exactly what you want to know, plus network with the people there.

Depending on the instructor(s), they can sometimes be very helpful when it comes to hooking you up with some work, as they (should) know people in the local post industry.
