Scarlet at CES

Yeah I saw this a couple days ago on another forum. Thank god for something besides stills. Of course, what's inside the camera and what kind of footage the camera produces matters more than anything else but I still wish they spent a little more time on the form factor. I mean, if you can have both quality of footage and quality of engineering, why not have both? At the moment, it just looks like a black box with a lens stuck on the front. And does it look to anyone else like there isn't enough space to get a follow focus to gear with the focus gear on the lens?
 
So tiny! holy crap...haha...absolutely amazing. It's supposed to have little sex appeal, it's modular. You can always get a Sexiness module to slap on it.
 
Yeah, I understand it'll be an entirely different machine when you add the proper modules to it but the build is still the build. As I understand it, the SCARLET fixed will have that same form factor and I can't imagine holding it with my hands without some type of rail system.
 
Yeah I can't wait to see it as part of a rig. Pretty goofy looking at first until you get used to it I guess.
