The previous editing software I used had this feature: you would place a tape in the deck, the and hit a button. The software would fast-foward through the tape, scanning it for every time I started and ended recording. It would recognize this, and mark each complete start and end as one clip. Then, it would rewind the tape, and capture all the clips that were tagged. Once all of that tape was captured, I could begin adding names and other data to each clip.
My question is: Is this possible in Final Cut Studio 2, with Final Cut Pro 6, and how?
